IDENTITY & ADVERTISING DESIGN
Go Golf Manor community group identity and event graphics
CLIENT:
Go Golf Manor!
YEAR:
2019
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
In 2014, my husband and I bought our first house in Golf Manor, Ohio. Golf Manor is a small incorporated municipality within Cincinnati. The Go Golf Manor community group was created as a nonprofit to foster resident engagement and development within the neighborhood. As one of the group's co-founders, I created the logo, maintained a Facebook page, and created promotional graphics as we planned events.
THE LITTLE THINGS:
Since Golf Manor was built in the 1920's and officially incorporated in the 1940's, I researched common typography styles from that period in time. I ended up choosing Futura and a script font called Milkshake, which reminded me of vintage sign painting.
